| This product does what it's advertised to do. Act as a fan to blow wind. It does cool my room down and is great on the rotation. This is NOT an A/C unit people, so don't expect it to get your room colder at all. It will just circulate the air for you and blow air, which is what I wanted. I highly recommend this fan. It's quiet, the remote is awesome, it has several settings, occilating, non-occilating and a timer as well as different fan options. I haven't had any problems with the remote. The device does have a timer on it if you want to set it to go off in 1 hour or 7 hours, and everything inbetween. The lasko fan blower is quiet on level 1 and 2. You can hear the lasko fans on supercharge when it's on its highest level, level 3 which is expected. I would recommend this product if you're looking for a tower fan to provide some breeze in a room! |

| My wife and I bought two of these lasko oscillating fans after the first summer heat wave. We've been very happy with them. My in-laws kept raving about the pedestal fans using phrases like "is it an AC?" Some other Amazon reviews make the same comparison by the way. So we're back to purchase another as a present for them. I like the design because it does its thing, does it well, and skips the senseless bells and whistles. It moves air in the room quite well. It oscillates. It has a manual lever to aim the air vertically. And it has three speeds. There are no LEDs which are a pet peeve of mine. There's no remote control. There's no sleep mode. There's no wind simulation mode. The fact that all of these things are missing is a "good thing!" and strongly contrast a Seville Classic tower fan I currently own that actually has all of these idiotic features but which is gathering dust in the garage. |

| I've never heard of the Lasko brand before. But quality seems as good as if not better than similar brands. Cons? It's not much of a looker. I'm not sure if it's meant to be contemporary, but it's ugly even by contemporary standards. I can't see any obvious way of cleaning it. This worries me a bit as a lot of tower designs come with designed obsolescence. We'll see how it wears over time I guess. This baby is quiet and just pumps out the air. It's easy to walk around it or move it when it's in the way. It just does the job without the annoyances of other high velocity fans. The oscillation is great and makes it feel like a natural breeze.

| I had received one of these lasko high velocity fan as a gift for Christmas and absolutely loved it. Not only did it oscillate, but it really moved the air. Just what you want on a hot day. The one I received had a remote control and that was an added luxury that I really liked. Unfortunately, this one that I bought does not have the remote control, or the soft touch buttons on the top. It has a simple dial switch and no lights. I was a bit disappointed that the remote feature wasn't on this lasko oscillating fan. But, as far as performance, it's ability to move the air and it's sleek design, all were still there and I still love it. I just wish they would again make these with the remote! Ultimately, if you want a good desktop fan that can truly keep you cool, you'd want this lasko tower fan product!
